Üniversite eğitimi almaya karar verdiğinizde alacağınız eğitim, harcayacağınız zaman ve paranın buna değip değmeyeceğini bilmeniz en doğal hakkınızdır. Bu konuda birçok araştırma yaparak birkaç üniversite belirlemiş olabilirsiniz. Belirlediğiniz bu üniversitelerin İngiltere’de başarı sıralamasını başvuru yapmadan once görmek isteyeceksinizdir. Aşağıda İngiltere’nin en populer iki Üniversite Başarı rehberi yayıncı kuruluşu olan The Times ve The Guardian’ın yayınladığı tabloyu inceleyerek üniversitelerin başarı sıralamalarını görebilirsiniz.

Tablodaki sıralamalar üniversiteleri genel olarak ele alarak hazırlanmıştır. Halbuki üniversitelerin bölümleri spesifik olarak diğer üniversitelerin aynı bölümleriyle karşılaştırıldığında kendi aralarında da bir başarı oranına sahiptirler. Örneğin A üniversitesi genel siralamada 40. Sıralarda olmasına rağmen Medya / İletişim bölümünde İngiltere’nin en iyi ilk 5 üniversitesinden biri olabilir. Bu durumda eğer Medya bölümü düşünüyorsanız değerlendirmenizi genel üniversite sıralamasına gore değil bölüm sıralamasına gore yapmanızda fayda vardır.
